Hello there,
hope your all well :D
I read this
book about a week ago, and OH MY GOD you guys. AMAZING!! BREATH-TAKING!! Just a
heads up, I’ve never written a book review before. But I do talk about the
books I read with my friends soooometimesss. I really wanted to write a book
review about the fault in our stars because I just couldn’t hold my thoughts
any longer.
let’s start
off with the synopsis: Hazel, a 16 year old girl diagnosed with lung cancer
when she was about 13 years old, she has to carry an oxygen tank wherever she
goes. Hazel’s mother wants her to go to a support group where cancer kids come
together and talk about themselves and their story. She meets this guy named
Augustus who lost a leg because of cancer and their paths cross and things
happen and I can’t say more because it’s gonna becomes full of spoilers which I
unfair to all those who didn’t read this book yet.
Okay moving
on to the characters:
-
Hazel: Her character is very realistic and down to
earth. She’s very simple and I really liked her character.
-
Augustus: he is an amazing character, I fell in love
with him. There is something different about Augustus’s character.
This book
brought tears down my face ,and by tears I mean RAIN!!Not just because the
characters were diagnosed with cancer, the ending was just so sad that I could
hold my tears any more.
There was this part where they are in a museum
and it’s full of pictures of people who died after war, or did something good
for their country and how people will always remember them. And Augustus tells
Hazel that if they die, no one will remember them, they will be just two kids
who died from cancer like any other person who died for the same reason. and
this really made me sad, because it’s totally true. Although they are the
people fighting the hardest battle, Yet they’re not remembered. Which was one
of the reasons the tears thing happened.
This book
deserves : 5 stars out of 5
